Rochester Finger Lakes Dental Hygienist Association (RFLDHA) serves eight Wester New York counties: Chemung, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, and Yates Counties. We are a component of the New York Dental Hygienists’ Association (NYDHA) which is a constituent of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA). RFLDHA is accountable to the profession of dental hygiene, our loyal members, and the public we serve on a daily basis.

Mission Statement The New York Dental Hygienists Association supports the advancement of the art and science of dental hygiene in order to ensure access to and delivery of quality preventive and therapeutic oral health care services to all New Yorkers in a cost effective manner. Through education and outreach to the public, NYDHA strives to increase awareness of the benefits of preventive dental hygiene services. NYDHA promotes the highest standards of dental hygiene education, licensure, practice and research and seeks to integrate dental hygiene as a component of interdisciplinary health care to improve the public's total health. NYDHA's strategic plan, adopted by its House of Delegates, presents goals and objectives in pursuit of the Association mission.
